The Virginia Department of Health, has now deemed that South West Virginia is a Coronavirus Hot Spot. With the increase in the spread of the Delta Variant of the coronavirus, and updated guidance from the Centers of Disease Control, our elders have made the difficult decision to once again, require all members and guests to wear face coverings, masks or face shields during our Bible Study and Worship services and events held at the church building and fellowship hall. This is a requirement for all, whether you have been vaccinated or not. Our elders have decided that all will need to continue to wear a mask or face covering for the foreseeable future. The elders will continue monitor the conditions. Also, our building is still being cleaned and disinfected and we are still fogging the building with medical grade solution that will kill the viruses. Also, for the foreseeable future, we will still have our Announcements, and our songs digital, and our bulletin will be going back to being digital only as well. If you would like to have a copy of the bulletin sent to your email, please get with Matthew and he will see that it is emailed to you. We know that these restrictions aren't ideal and having to make these decisions that our elders have to make for the health and safety of our congregation aren't easy. Please be supportive of our elders. They are looking out for our spiritual and our physical well-being's. We will continue to broadcast our service in our fellowship hall, we will also continue to use the individual communion packs and our offering drop boxes.
First and foremost, our elders want everyone understand that if you need to remain at home because you are high risk or feel for your safety that you cannot return to the building for public Worship at this time, that we will be continuing to broadcast our service online.
For us to be able to resume our In-Person Worship Service, our elders have updated our safety protocols.
· Facemask or face coverings must be worn by all who attend services or events at our church building or fellowship hall. Regardless of vaccination status.
· Continued use of the individual communion packets.
· Continued use of the offering drop boxes & online giving.
· Continued use of bottled water.
· Announcements, Songs & bulletin will continue to be digital.
Our elders have implemented these protocols for the health and safety of our members and guests. They do not take these matters lightly and look forward to the day when these protocols will no longer be necessary.
